Statement der Band:

Due to unforeseen circumstance, the upcoming Belle Game tour has had to be cancelled,Please contact your point of purchase for a refundWe are working on getting new dates for the band in Spring 2018.

Led by the hypnotic vocals of Andrea Lo, The Belle Game weave intricate soundscapes into shadowy, dark-pop rumblings.

Over the past two years, The Belle Game has toured throughout North America and Europe, quickly earning a reputation for their emotional live performances, prompting Paste Magazine to name them one of the 10 Great New Bands from CMJ.

Canadian Indie authority Exclaim! describes their music as “…indie-rock at its best: texturally layered, with echoing guitars, infectious rhythms and horns, and lavished in hooks.”

Their debut album Ritual Tradition Habit is a journey through 12 beautifully layered tracks; among them the spooky ballad, ‘River’, a song Pitchfork deemed a “show-stopping, extroverted piece of musical theatre”.

The Belle Game released the Wait Up For You through Bella Union (UK/EUR) and Ritual Tradition Habit on Boompa Records (CAN) in April 2013.

Over the last few years, the band has been quietly gathering acclaim and praise around the world, starting with major festival appearances in support of their two independently released EPs, and subsequent partnering for RTH release with hometown label, Boompa Records. They have played coveted opening slots for Gotye, Karkwa, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Born Ruffians, Bahamas, and more.

The Belle Game is currently working on a new LP, set for release in 2016 and produced by Kevin Drew (of Broken Social Scene) and Dave Hamelin.

Andrea Lo, Adam Nanji, Katrina Jones and Alex Andrew make up The Belle Game, hailing from Vancouver/Montreal.
