With more than 600 concerts all over the world, as well as appearances in the most prestigious extreme music festivals (Hellfest, Roskilde, Copenhell, SummerBreeze, Brutal Assault, Roadburn, Psycho Las Vegas, ...), 1 EP and 5 albums, CELESTE is today considered as one of the most important bands of the famous "French Avant-Garde Black-Metal" scene.
CELESTE a mix of Sludge / Post-hardcore with Black Metal and Doom hints. Definitely forfans of Breach, Neurosis, old Cult of Lunaor Deathspell Omega. Darkness is really the word that fits to the band. They are a very particular band live as they play in total darkness, only using red headlights and a strobe for their performances.
